Mica is the head-village of 7 others. It was mentioned in written documents as early as 1332. Mica is an interesting place. Its diversity reflects itself in churches, which range from Unitarian, Greek catholic, and Orthodox to other religions. Scattered castles and mansions remind us of a long gone era. The building of village hall in Mikefalva is an Eperjesi castle dating back to the XVIII century. The memoirs tell us about the disappearance of its valuables once it became state-owned. The artifacts reminding us of a luxurious lifestyle simply vanished. There is only one tile stove left in the village hall. In Desfalva the castle belonging to Pataki family, which is of noble ancestry, now serves as a doctor's office. The church built in the XIV century by Roman Catholics now belongs to the Unitarian church. The beautiful wooden church in Abosfalva was built in the XIX century. The village also houses one of the XVIII century castles belonging to the ancient Apor family. The reformed church in Szaszcsavas was built in 1835. It has a choir of five parts and an internationally recognized band. They also pride in organizing dance festivals
