The oldest church in the town square, was built between 1721-1741, belongs to Roman Catholic worship and is dedicated to St. Ladislaus. The tower was built in 1800. Inside the building we can find the oldest altar of the city which is dated to 1730.

On the altar we can observe St. Ladislau who gives the key of the city to the bishop of Oradea.

The frescos painted in 1908 by Turz Gyula and it presents different aspects of the king's life: how he made the water to spring from a rock or when he built the church of Oradea.
