The casino was the main attraction in the town, celebrations, parties were organized here, around 800 people entered the casino daily. It seemed that nobody and nothing could ever put it to an end. However, during WW II, though for a short time in 1947 it closed its gates. In 1995 it became a community centre with its own library and art groups. Later having recognized the value of the building, after all, it became the scene of exquiste theatre performances, folklore events and concerts.
