Băile Homorod, Ilona valley

According to experts, the Homoródfürdő Ilona valley is a true garden fairies. In addition to fish and beavers, otters also live in the waters of the Homorod brook. On the shores are alders and flowers that have survived the ice age. Bears and wolves live in pine and deciduous forests.

Birds of prey protected by law hunt in the air. A special species from the forests here is the Ural owl, one of the largest owls in the world with a wingspan of up to one meter! This intact valley is also a habitat highlighted in the Natura 2000 register.

That is why we need to pay special attention to biodiversity conservation. Along the road that passes by Ilona valley protected from the wind, build more stations. Villas last system were however destroyed by carelessness, but in recent years amounts villas.

A promenade passing by the swimming pool with free entrance was built through the valley full of springs. Next to the Lobogó guest house, where you can also camp with caravans, there is a closed swimming pool for a fee. The Lobogó slope that also works here, in summer is covered with a wonderful grass carpet.
