After becoming Reformed, the parishioners of Neaua built a wooden church in 1665. It was demolished in 1680 and they built one with a shingle roof. The bell tower from 1684 was sold in 1774 to the church from Drojdii. The bells were moved to the new church built between 1794 and 1800.

Probably the organ was also sold because the current organ was made in 1926 by Boda József from Toplița-Ciuc. The pulpit crown was made by the patron saint of the church, Máthé Izsák, and his wife. Nowadays there are two bells in the tower, the old one cast in 1837 from a cracked bell.
