Păltiniș locality, located 3 km from Lupeni, is a settlement that stretches along the Gada brook. It is mentioned in documents from 1567. Above the small settlement stands the Reformed church and its slender bell tower. The Réz (copper) brook, mentioned in all descriptions, is just a brook, but the valley is of a romantic wilderness.
