Săncel, Daffodil meadow

The stony road to Săncel detaches from the Kalonda plateau. After the coal mines follow several meadows with daffodils, daffodils blooming on huge territories. When the sky is blue and the sun is shining, the green fields and the millions of white daffodils offer a true fairytale landscape.

Daffodils bloom in small or large clusters. But we must not forget that daffodils are protected plants, their collection can lead to punishment. Continuing the road we reach the village of Săncel with its houses scattered in harmony with nature. Some families live here, others climbed only in summer, but there are families who come sporadically.
