Păuleni, Old school

Păuleni has had a school since the middle of the 19th century. The little school with only one classroom is now pink. The teacher's house was also in the building. After the construction of the new one-story school, in 1942 the old building was taken over by the local council, which functioned here until 1959, after which it was given to the Agricultural Cooperative. After the revolution of December 1989, the building became nobody's house, until 2000, when it was rented by the local composesorate, which took care to preserve the old school building.
