Târnovița, Salt fountain

The salt fountain from Târnovița is very appreciated by the inhabitants. As we found out, during the 2009 renovation, the well was closed in a house to protect its water. The rectangular fountain is lined with planks. Until the renovation, it was possible to see notes with the amount of salt water taken by each family. The locals take great care of the fountain because due to its mineral content, its water can also be used to treat joint and rheumatic pains.
