Tibod, Catholicchapell

As is apparent from the year engraved on the altar, chapel Tibod built in 1764 by Török Pál (1719-1787) at greater Squire Francis area support his brother who was born in 1727, which was Parish, primate and then bishop. The chapel became the burial place of the family.

The beautiful interior of the chapel is due to him, which was initially dedicated to Saint Elizabeth, and later to the visit of the Virgin Mary. Inside we can see the statues of Saints István, László and János, as well as the statuary group of the Holy Trinity.

Török family coat of arms, made by sculptor Scheffley reached the wall in 1895. By the mid-nineteenth century chapel can be accessed only by family members, they are buried in the crypt under the chapel. Funerals were not held near the chapel for a long time.

The last member of the family donated the chapel believers who take care of it today. There is a cemetery around the chapel.
