Eremitu, Catholic church

Eremitu Catholic Church was built between 1808 and 1812 the donations of Nyulas Ferenc, chief physician and chemist Transylvania. He discovered manganese. Attraction church crucifix commissioned by Apafi Mihály in 1486 and probably realized by Veit Stoss of Nuremberg.

It was thrown by the reformers from the church-fortress in Târgu-Mureș. Since he was saved, it is the main altar of the church. The two secondary altars are adorned with large paintings. The organ was built in 1911 at the Angszter and Sons workshops in Pécs. There are four bells in the tower.

In front of the church is a pillar erected in 1898 in memory of the priest Salamon Endre. He was the initiator of the possibility of replacing the tax due to the church with an obelisk or a high cross at the side of the road. The pedestal of the memorial pillar was later erected in 1940.
