Lazuri Gorge, Pădurea Craiului Mountains

Lazuri gorge can be reached from Lazuri locality.

On the Beiuș-Aleșd road, in-between the 16-17km, there is an indicator with: Lazuri-2km. We follow the flow of Lazuri. 300m from the centre of the village we get into the gorge sector and we advance on the left side of the valley.

After 430m, on the right slope Red cave, while on the left White cave is visible. The length of the gorge exceeds 5km.

After the inflow of two brooks follows the most dangerous part of the gorge, impassable in high water conditions, because the region is characterized by repetitive crossings of the valley. From here we can continue towards the Toplicioarei fount and Farcu cave.
