Vlăhița, Children's Philharmonic

The children's philharmonic gathered the most talented students of the former General School no.1. In 1982, music teacher Haáz Sándor prepared a year-end program. Students assemblies trumpeters, violinists and the chorus came together to present classics known.

The success was so great that the idea took root and since 1983 they became known as the Children's Philharmonic, performing 20-30 performances annually. It is curious that in Vlăhița there was no music school, only teacher Haáz Sándor, helped by some former students.

Membrii formației au insignă, cravată și uniformă. Au instrumente personale, dar are și formația. Din 1990 în fiecare vară pleacă în turnee externe. Pornesc la drum cu trei autocare, cheltuielile fiind acoperite prin proiecte de reciprocitate. Au ajuns aproape în toată Europa.

In 2017, they arrived in Canada to present the repertoire with the specific resonance of Fili, how the band is pampered. Because Fili is a feeling, a way of life. What does it mean to belong to Fili? At the first sounds, a thrill of pleasure penetrates your spine. At local events the Hussars also sing with them.
