The Narcissus Festival in Vlăhița takes place in May of each year, when the daffodils bloom. If it rains, the event moves to the Gábor Áron House of Culture. If the weather is good, the festival starts in the center, the festive parade leading to the stage in the daffodil glade where the Narcissus Festival begins. The colorful show is provided by local and surrounding folk ensembles, majorette groups, orchestras and of course the hussars with the children's philharmonic from Vlăhița.
