Vlăhița, Hussars from Vlahiáa

The 24 hussar ensemble from Vlăhița is present at all the celebrations organized in the locality. The harbor harbor, all horse owners, remembers the events of 1848/49. By presenting our historical moments, we educate ourselves to respecting and preserving traditions.

Every year in October, the Autumn Campaign is organized, recalling the recruitment of 1848. That year, at the end of November Bem József, appointed by Kossuth Lajos, the general of Transylvania recruited men from the villages of Szeklers.

Participating in a campaign generally around 100-120 and 50-60 Hussar carts with orchestra, dancers, guests from home and abroad, dressed in vintage clothes. They can choose from a variety of programs: equestrian performances, cooking contests, sports activities, artistic programs.

Of course can not miss Bogracsos in pot or singing, because Hussars love to sing, appear on several occasions even with Philharmonic children.
