Sărăuad is a locality situated in Satu Mare county, with a population of 1013 inhabitants.

Sărăuad dates since 1465. The most important landlord of the area was Szénási István, who supported the reformed church. In 1779 the locality passed in the property of Károlyi Antal landlord from Carei who had interests up until 1920 in Sărăuad.
