The wooden church from Voivodeni with Saint Mihail and Gavril patron was made in 1820-1822 on the old church's place. The church's plan is rectangular with dimensions of 13x7m.

The vaulting system is made up of ceiling straight over the narthex, semi-cylindrical vault over the nave and altar. The sanctuary has a valuable painting, made in 1831. For attaining bible's scenes and characters it was brought Iosif Perso from Elciu, he painted 15 years ago the church from Dragu. Unfortunately the roof degradation made possible the rain's water infiltration and thus the painting's scenes of Perso were destroyed. The new sanctuary from masonry made in 1958-1960 gave oblivion this sălăjean jewel.
