Podișu, Wooden church

The wooden church from Podișu was built at the end of XVIII, beginning of XIX century on another Greco Catholic church's place which was built in 1733. In 1947, the year of passing to orthodox, its situation was delicate but not even the orthodox have restaurated it up until 2005-06.

Then the church was painted. On the walls they fixed plywood and afterwards the church was painted. The electricity was mounted and a chorus was built. The belfry tower hostess one of the old church's bells made in 1680. The tower had lost its 4 little towers.
