Firminiș, Orthodox church

Firminiș's orthodox church was built in 1911. After the earthquake in 1977 problems appeared. Church's tower is massive and well anchored but a wall had to be rebuilt. After Sanctuary's reconstruction interior was painted, problems were not over.

Church's ground is unstable and walls are cracking one by one. In 2009 interior was renovated to avoid plaster from falling. Specialists called here concluded that consolidation works would be more expensive than raising a new church. The cristians voted to built a new church. The works are in progress.
