Beznea, Wooden church

The wooden church in Beznea was built in 1723. With time it became incomprehensible and it was enlarged, reaching its current size. The porch was added then. The exterior of the church is surrounded by the rope motif, the basic element of the entrance door dial, where four ropes appear. The prison balustrade is decorated with hearts. From the shingle roof rises the tower with balcony and octagonal coil.

In the tower there are two bells in 1724 and 1738. Unfortunately, most of the interior painting has been destroyed. There are also statues of saints and the scene of the Crucifixion in the altar and the paintings on the iconostasis made on the canvas. The beautiful doors, decorated with medallions, have been preserved. The paintings on the vault and walls of the nave disappeared instead. The arches on the ship's vault are beautifully decorated with rosettes.
