Jebucu had on its territory a benedict monastery even since the tartar incursion. One pillar's capital can be seen at the present church's entrance. In documents from 1940 there are references regarding the Catholic Church raised probably in XIII century and gone in the middle of XVII century. In 1681 the reformed converted population raised a new church. Tower was added in 1840. The two bells were molded in 1792, or in 1803.

The organ was made in 1819, but after the big fire from 1876 only the walls remained. The church was rebuilt in 1879 as it is in present. In 1992 the edifice was renewed, and since then the choir and the ceiling is decorated with wooden cassettes, sculpted. The old church's font is in the yard's church.
