Baba, Orthodox church

The old church of the locality built of wood at the end of the seventeenth century and renovated in 1798 no longer exists. Only the stone of the altar, which in 2014 was framed in a summer altar, remains. The current Orthodox Church of Baba was built between 1903-1905 in the brick.

Its walls have a thickness of 0.5m. In the period 2009-2014, the church underwent major renovation. Church was consolidated structure, since reconstruction of the dome of the timber and the tower, the aluminum sheet cover with the roof, the building casting tower and the balcony.

4 registers iconostasis was made in 2013 Mihis Viorel and Yuga painter painting Alin in Beclean who made and the 58 icons of the iconostasis.
