The current church in Ghindari is the fourth in chronological order. The first was a wooden church with a bell tower built in 1572, but destroyed by a landslide. The second one built between 1791 and 1797 had a 54m tower. The nave of the third church, built between 1866 and 1868, became dangerous after the earthquake of 1920, being rebuilt and greatly expanded between 1926 and 1928. In the tower built in 1797 are two bells, the old one cast in 1922. The year 1724 is inscribed on the Lord's table. The pulpit also comes from the second church. The organ built in 1873 by an unknown craftsman does not work.
