The reformed church in Crișeni was built in place of an older church, of which only a piece of wall has been preserved. The tower was built in 1773, the nave between 1819 and 1822, and the stone foot of the gate in 1827.

In 1861 the shingle roof was replaced first with a tin one and then a tile one. The ceiling of the ship collapsed several times, the coffered ceiling dates from 1911. The organ was built by Boda József in 1840. The two bells in the tower were cast in 840 in Sighisoara, respectively in 1925 in Sibiu.

It also had two bells that were used for military purposes in 1848 and 1914.
