The Straw Hat Museum opened in 2001 is a private initiative of Szőcs Lajos, whose family has long been involved in making straw hats. The exhibition was arranged, with the help of the County Center for Culture, in a peasant house purchased and renovated by him.

In the first room we find all types of straw hats made in the country, equipment used to make hats, straw ornaments and household items. In the courtyard we are attracted by a collection of stones.
