While reforming the church and parishioners until then Catholics go to the Unitarian religion. In 1640 the church became reformed, but after a while it regained Unitarians. In 1688, Prince Apafi attributed it to the Unitarian Reformers, who were forced to build a new church.

After the first wooden church burned down, they built another one, followed by a stone one built between 1806 and 1810. In the tower built in 1817 there are two bells, the old one being cast in 1783.

The organ was built by József Nagy in Brasov. The furniture was made in 1813.
