Bezid, Mounds

At 200m from Bezid locality, near the road to Goagiu, we are attracted by 10 round mounds, which also appear in writings from the end of the 19th century. Some claim that they are old funerary monuments while others believe that the earth was lifted by the pressure of underground gases.

The enigmatic formations, which are not unique in Transylvania, were studied by archaeologists, photographed from the plane, and are admired by tourists.
