Agârbiciu, Evangelical fortified church

Documentary attested in 1343, the church of Agârbiciu receives the present form in the sec. XV. The vault of the initial hall was covered with ribs, but today it is only a simple vault that rests on six pilasters.

The tower has six floors and a wooden guard corridor and houses three medieval bells. The fortification of the church was begun in the 16th century. It was surrounded by a single high wall of about. 6 m.

In the northwest corner is the gate tower, and in the east there is a long building, where the backyard of the locality was stored. The entrance door was fitted with flat strips and iron tools to strengthen it. The last time was turned into 1827 and 1845.
