The church of Motiș parish, dated 1319, was built at the end of the 14th century. In the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries, the Gothic building without a tower was fortified with a wall and three towers of defense. In 1631 the tower was built, and the west tower was turned into a bell tower where there are two bells from the 15th century. The Church, following many changes, including the enlargement of the first half of the 19th century, has come to its present-day appearance. Inside it is a baroque altar and pulpit in 1791. The organ was built in 1793 by Michael Gross.
