Cavnic, Tatar column

In 1717 there were Crimean Tatars defeated the nobles of the Tisza led by László Bagossy. In the memory of the event was erected this column of 3 m, which can be read: Anno 1717. us que hic fuerunt tartari. (1717, the Tatars arrived here). Pillar Tatars, as it is called, is located between two churches, Catholic and Greek Catholic roadside monument and defeat Tatars in 1717.
