The Gothic church of Apa was built in the 15th century at the initiative of Báthory Zsuzsanna. The two commemorative texts show in 1640, the year the church was built. The sanctuary was destroyed by the Tatars in 1717, and rebuilt public collection between 1750 and 1759.

The hexagonal tower, 37 m high, houses two bells, the old one was poured in 1634. The stone pulpit was built by Sipos Dávid in 1752, the table was built in 1810 and the organ in 1848. The church is surrounded by a stone fence, 1.5-2.5 m high.
