Cehei, Pond Reservation

Balta Cehei situated in Crasna river floodplain is a natural site with aquatic vegetation and fauna specific to such area. The lake placed at the altitude of 198 m on a quaternary alluvial bed on clay and marl deposit is the paradise of botanists. The lake has a surface of 128,13 square meters and the depth of 2,6 m.

The present ecosystem has many plants and rare creatures some of them protected by the law. The area is well signaled but you can easily observe it thanks to the color composition which this area is offering to the passers-by.
