One of the most beautiful buildings in Seini was built in 1848 by the Kávási family. The first member of the family arrived here by marriage. Seeing that much of the wealth was lost after World War I in the agrarian reform, Káravy Sándor sold his home and went abroad.

The new owner of building successful farmer John Buteanu, born in 1893, failed to enjoy a long time to purchase, which changed it's liking. Being rich, his wealth was collectivized in 1949 and was deported to the south. The House became the headquarters of the State Enterprise, a party headquarters, a farmhouse, and finally a deserted and destroyed home. Today's appearance is due Pop family, who restored the original look of the house and opened a hostel.
