Baleia hostel - Peleaga glade

The route marked with red and blue triangle starts at Baleia and climbs up Baleia. After approx. one half hour goes into the clearing, from where a sharp climb takes us under the Cleanțul Cozmei peak to 1,800 m and soon we get to Gorova saddle. So far I have done 1 3/4 hour. Our route crosses the Lăncița springs, clusters of forest, reaches Poiana Călătorilor (1710m). From here we go down through the woods, we reach the serpentines of Lacului mount, which we descend to the waters of the River Barbat. We cross the ridge and get to the glade from Stana de Râu (1565 m).

After a halt we start the climb to the mouth of Ciumfu Mare, where we can admire the Ciumfu waterfalls. After a more pronounced climb, the Tăul Adânc va opens. We can not get directly into the Custura saddle, so we walk around the bottom of the boiler up to the Fereastra Custurii (2251m)

From here we begin to descend into the Pelegii valley, a tough but efficient descent to get to the fastest way in Peleaga Glade. So we will reach the place called "La Cotroana", where we will meet the trail:
