The beautiful Ciumfu waterfall can be admired by the blue triangle:

After the Ciumfu Creek, descends with the waters of three lakes: Custura Mare, Custura Mică and Ciumfu Mare, and begins a fall from the high threshold of over 100 m, forming one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Retezat. The height of the fall exceeds 100m. Its waters give rise to the river Barbat, tributary of the Strei River, which flows into Mures.
