Câmpani - Sighistel vale - DN75 hiking trail

The blaze starts from the centre of Upper Meadow. The road is coming from the DN 75 road, towards Sighiștel, goes through the village and reaching the camping area, it alternates between the two sides. We have arrived to the valley of Sighiștel, the paradise of caves.

The valley awaits the adventurers with more than 200 smaller and bigger caves. Here is an example: at the end of the village we can find the Dealul Cornii at the entrance of the pass, whereas the Varnița cave is at the right side. In the upper left part we can find the Punte cave. Going along the left side we find the Piatra Lunga cliff, straight across of which there is one of the Rea valleys. After the Granita emergence we can find Corbasca cave, a bit further the Zvârlișul Corbeștilor cave. Right after the place called the Strâmtură we can find the Colibii 2 cave.

Another cave is situated on the Blidaru streamlet, the Răsuflătoarea Blidarului cave. In the upper part of the left side we find the huge entrance of Drăcoaia cave. The next cliff gives place to another cave, the Virgin Cave. Going further, in a wild area we can find the Peștera Pișolca cave, then after the Sodulului Chifului brook we find a path leading to the caves of Măgura and Coliboaia. Our blaze marks the road of course. Before starting to climb we can watch the Upper keys Sighiștel valley. From this point the blaze leads us upwards.

We reach a small streamlet gurgling from huge rocks. We pass the pathes to the two caves, and our sign takes us further upwards to an airy, ethereal area at the canyon. After the Magura brook it goes down to the Rea valley pass streamlet. From here it climbs to the valley coming from the left in the Sohodolului valley, where it goes through a forest. After 40 minutes it reaches a road we shall walk 8 minutes on, then we shall climb in the forest to a glade.

Leaving the pasture we reach the road of Moților, where we reach the 25+100km signs of the road DN 75.
