Pietroasa-Padiș hiking trail

The blaze starts from the centre of Vasaskofalva on the bank of the Crisul Pietros goes together with the blue and yellow triangle. At the influx of Aleu streamlet we are left by

Pietroasa-Bohodei waterfall

6 km from the influx of Aleu streamlet we get on a large clearing, the Vizkoz. Here we are left by the blue cross.

Pietroasa-Arieseni

From here upwards the Cris with Stone is called Bulz. After the Bulz stone we meet the blue stripe.

Boga - Bohodei

We reach the Boga settlement. Our blaze goes right after the bridge, leaves the road and starts ascending. It reaches a path on which we can get to the Red spring.

From here we ascend further through the forest to a clearing, from where we continue our way towards the Szkerica ghat. There we turn left, then go left around a water-course, pass a spring, then our sign leaves the road, taking us up to a clearing, then descending to the Padis plateau. Here meets the red dot.

Padiș - Vărășoaia

Soon we get the company of

Vărășoaia - Vârtop

The two blazes go together passing the Padis forester`s lodge, then after 650 m the red stripe leaves us. We go farther towards Padis. Soon we will be guided by

Before Padis, the blue stripe marks the main ridge.
