Piatra Tâlharului-Padiș

Our sign gets to a crossroad after 30 minutes, where we go ahead, passing by smaller hills and lakes, getting to the Bălileasa meadow. We climb unto a saddle from here. Here we meet a blaze again.

After circa 1 hour it reaches the Borțig brook. We cross the water and get to a huge glade. We go ahead into the South, getting to another glade. After a short ascending way we get to the top. We shall descend from here to the Ponița saddle.

Pietroasa-Arieșeni

We climb to the top from the saddle, then start to descend at the Vârtop peak to the wood path, which takes us down through the Poienița houses, Vârtop glade and Vârtop saddle. We are at 1195 m height on the DN75 road, at the 27 km, 10 km away from Arieșeni at the Vârtop saddle. The 1st main ridge is followed by the
