Tîrgu Mureș,Petráskó, Kárnász House

The building was built in 1824 by the Petráskó family. At the middle of the XIX.th century the house was bought by the Gajzágó family and it got its name after his daughter. The walls of the building are richly decorated. The paintings show the streets of the ancient town. From the ceiling of the corridor are looking femine portraits and ladies sitting on clouds.

After the nationalization a part of the rooms were painted and arrented. In 1986 when the renovation of the building started they had to eliminate nine coats to the original paintings. The local-council made a matrimonial office in the building.
