On this place in 1750 the Greek-Catholic Church had built a wooden church what burned thirty years later. So between 1792-1794 they built another for this time some church. The plan what included a lot of baroque elements was made by Topler János. After the second W.W. the church got into the hand of the Orthodox Church. They renewed it, changed the furniture but fortunately they kept the old paintings.
